Safeguarding
CareLink Northants CIC is committed to protecting vulnerable adults and anyone who may be at risk. We provide a safe, supportive and respectful community transport and wellbeing service, where people are listened to, treated with dignity and helped to stay connected to their community. All staff, volunteers and partners share responsibility for safeguarding and must follow our safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
Equality & Inclusion
We celebrate diversity and welcome people from all backgrounds, cultures and identities. CareLink Northants CIC does not tolerate discrimination, harassment or victimisation on any grounds, including age, disability, gender, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital or civil partnership status, pregnancy or maternity. We aim to make our services accessible, fair and inclusive, and we regularly review how we work to remove barriers and improve access.

Everyone who uses or is involved in CareLink Northants CIC has the right to be treated with dignity and respect. We:

• Support people to make their own choices wherever possible
• Take time to understand individual needs, preferences and communication styles
• Challenge behaviour that is disrespectful, bullying or abusive
We expect our staff, volunteers, passengers, carers and partners to uphold these values at all times.
Confidentiality
We handle all personal information sensitively and in line with data protection law. Information is only shared with others when it is necessary to provide our service, when we have consent, or when we must do so to keep someone safe. If we believe that a person is at risk of harm, we may need to share information with relevant agencies, even without consent, but we will explain this wherever it is safe to do so.
Reporting Concerns
If you are worried about your own safety, or the safety or wellbeing of someone else, please tell us as soon as possible. You can speak to any member of staff or volunteer, or contact us using the details on our Contact page. We will:
• Listen carefully and take your concerns seriously
• Act promptly in line with our safeguarding procedures
• Work with other agencies where needed to help keep people safe
